[00:02:52] [SPEAKER_00]: It was like, you're sitting on a plane in my mind.
[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I imagine it's first class I hope.
[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm in the back.
[00:03:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I would have a family who's here.
[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_00]: You've got our kids.
[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I got people kicking the seats.
[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I am in the rear with the gear.
[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Even better.
[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_00]: So so in sits down next to you and you start talking to them and they ask you,
[00:03:13] [SPEAKER_00]: what could you, what do you do for living, right?
[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_00]: And you have to answer in one sentence, a single sentence.
[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?
[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_00]: What do you tell them?
[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_01]: It's funny to ask because the way I describe myself now is because that happened.
[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_01]: And how do you like take all this stuff that you do when you're an entrepreneur and you
[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_01]: your coach and that?
[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_01]: So it happened.
[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll never forget that and someone said, what do you do?
[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_01]: And I just spat out on my life transformer.
[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, a life transformer.
[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_01]: What do you mean by that?
[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I said, change lives.
[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I do.
[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, well, how do you do that?
[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I said, I'm a coach.
[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm an author.
[00:03:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm a speaker.
[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I change lives.
[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, huh, tell me more.
[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's all you really want when people say, what do you do?
[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm a trainer.
[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm a coach or a speaker.
[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not the depends on the setting point.
[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, right?
[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, what I do, but I change lives.
[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And as a mindset coach and a physical coach at trainer,
[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I've been blessed over the last 25 plus years to work with a lot of
[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_01]: different people, athletes, entrepreneurs, moms and dads, grandmas, grandpas, kids.
[00:04:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I really don't care who it is, but they want to change your life.
[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what moves me and that's what moves my soul.
[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_01]: And I started my business in year 2000.
[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_01]: And that kind of got me started on the path to changing lives.
[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_01]: And now, almost 25 years later, here I am with just wrote the fifth book.

[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_01]: One of my clients that I don't work with for a long time.
[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Drew Breeze, Drew is the suitable winning quarterback.
[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Soon to be Hall of Fame quarterback.
[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I've been training Drew for 22 years now.
[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I trained him all 20 years of his NFL career.
[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And in 2021, in the middle of a very, very rough patch for everybody.
[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_01]: He was the pandemic.
[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_01]: California was crazy.
[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Jim's are closed.
[00:05:51] [SPEAKER_01]: It was nuts.
[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_01]: But I was battling with my own personal demons for the first time in a long time.
[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's what true strength is all about the book.
[00:05:59] [SPEAKER_01]: And I had a really, really serious back injury that left me in a bad place in trying to figure
[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_01]: out the wreck.
[00:06:07] [SPEAKER_01]: And the world was in.
[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Drew said, hey, I've got a friend over in White Fish, Montana.
[00:06:13] [SPEAKER_01]: He just brought, he just bought a big property.
[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_01]: He wants you to build the spa fitness and retreat center.
[00:06:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I've always wanted to be in the mountains.
[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_01]: I thought it'd be maybe like Park City, Deer Valley, Utah.
[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_01]: And when he said, he wants you to build a spa fitness and retreat center in White Fish, Montana.
[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, when can we leave?
[00:06:36] [SPEAKER_01]: When can we start?
[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And sure enough, the next week we're here in White Fish.
[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And I fell in love.
[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I fell in love with White Fish.
[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I fell in love with what's called the homestead.
[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_01]: 1600 acre property just several miles down the road.
[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And I've been just enamored and working deeply with all my friends out there and making
[00:06:57] [SPEAKER_01]: a dream become a reality.
[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's why I'm in the midst of whenever I come out here several times a year now.
[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_01]: We're going on our fourth retreat, I brought different groups out here that I coach life
[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_01]: coaching, business coaching for fitness professionals.
[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_01]: We have another one coming up in November out here in White Fish.
[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I just have fallen in love with it, Eric.
[00:07:16] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm a big believer in dreams and intentions, but you've got to work at tell off to do that.
[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_01]: I always had the desire to always, last 10 years, I've had the desire to be in the mountains
[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_01]: doing a lot more business and life coaching.
[00:07:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Cool.
[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's what I'll be doing here.
[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Not yet, but I'm building toward that now because I'm bringing more and more people
[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_01]: to Bozeman and White Fish.
[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Not really Bozeman, just White Fish, but you go to Bozeman.
[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_00]: When you're going through that period during the pandemic, and you say you're kind of facing
[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_00]: your demons, I mean, when someone looks at someone like you, on stage, what initially speaking,
[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_00]: you're running masterminds, you're giving them inspiration and insights to help them drive
[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_00]: forward and whatever endeavors that they may have.
[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_00]: So what is, I think most people think, well, what was like, I like you have with demons,
[00:08:04] [SPEAKER_00]: right?
[00:08:04] [SPEAKER_00]: How do the demons affect you?
[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_00]: You seem to have your house in order, right?
[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_00]: So it's plain like maybe expand on that.
[00:08:11] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll close that.
[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_00]: What was that?
[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_00]: If you want to talk to me.
[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I'll try to make a long story short because that's what the book is about true strength.
[00:08:18] [SPEAKER_01]: And the book starts out with one of my clients.
[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_01]: His name is Pastor David Jeremiah.
[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_01]: If you're in the faith-based world, you probably know of Pastor David Jeremiah.
[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_01]: He's on TV every Sunday morning.
[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got like 400 networks nationwide.
[00:08:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And I've been training him for 10 years.
[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And he has a quote that I heard him say years ago.
[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I was training him.
[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_01]: He said, hey, listen, he goes to the crest of the wave, determines the depth of the valley,
[00:08:41] [SPEAKER_01]: and the depth of the valley determines the crest of the wave.
[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't really understand it when he said it, but he said there's highs and lows in life.
[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_01]: And really the way I would explain this valley for me is I had a lot of crests in the waves
[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_01]: in my career from your 2000 to 2020.
[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Now mind you like anyone.
[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_01]: There's highs and there's lows.
[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I had some pretty cool highs during that time.
[00:09:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't need to talk about what those highs were, but in 2020 like everyone, there was
[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_01]: a lot of lows.
[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I felt the personal responsibility for the fitness industry and all the people who I was coaching.
[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_01]: And I put the way to the world on my back, and I literally said it.
[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I went live every day for 91 straight days, seven days a week to any trainer coach, fit
[00:09:23] [SPEAKER_01]: pro business owner that needed inspiration, motivation, business coaching.
[00:09:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I was going live at 12 new West Coast, 3 o'clock East Coast every day.
[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_01]: In the midst of this, there was this deep down voice since 2018 telling me that I was destined
[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_01]: for more.
[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_01]: There was something that I didn't want to just have fitness quest 10 to gym I started
[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_01]: for the next 10 years.
[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I just turned 50 and I was like, there's got to be more life is good, but there's
[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_01]: got to be something deeper.
[00:09:56] [SPEAKER_01]: And I was doing this soul searching and I didn't know what that was and I just knew
[00:10:01] [SPEAKER_01]: that I didn't want to keep doing exactly what I was doing for the next decade, but it's
[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_01]: hard to give up good because it was good.
[00:10:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Was it like I was failing when you're failing?
[00:10:09] [SPEAKER_01]: You got to change.
[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_01]: When it's good, it's hard to give it up.
[00:10:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I likened it to like a trapeze artist like you don't want to let go of this run to get
[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_01]: to the second run because this is good and you want to swing and you've got to let go.
[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_01]: But I didn't want to let go.
[00:10:20] [SPEAKER_01]: So that's the analogy I use and all of a sudden when the pandemic hit like everyone who
[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_01]: is crambling I went through multiple things in a nutshell.
[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I had my second knee replacement surgery.
[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I had my right one done in 2018, 2020.
[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I had my left one done in a year later.
[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I had to get it cleaned up because it didn't go as I wanted.
[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_01]: But six weeks after my second knee replacement surgery all of a sudden my back went out
[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_01]: and something like I'd never felt before.
[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Step back 25 years previously my professional football career and they do to a really
[00:10:54] [SPEAKER_01]: serious back injury, three hernated discs, spinal stenosis, degenerate back disease.
[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Left me motionless on a football field and ex-onpervons France that ended up being a blessing
[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_01]: for me to ultimately get into fitness because I was like I'm going to get out of back
[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_01]: surgery without back in pain without having surgery and I did that led me into a path of healing
[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_01]: as a body worker trainer, strength and condition in coach that led me to open up my gym in
[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_01]: January of 2000.
[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Fast forward 20 years, all of a sudden my back was out again.
[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Like when I say out, I know pain, five concussions of sprain and strain every part of
[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_01]: my body but this was pain very like I get emotional thinking about it because I felt
[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_01]: pain like I've never felt before and you start getting crazy thoughts when you're in pain
[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_01]: and you're looking at your kids, you're like they have no idea how bad I am and I'm trying
[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_01]: to put the world on my back.
[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm literally saying get on my back, get on my back.
[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_01]: In my back broke.
[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_01]: They told me I needed a 14 hour surgery that's how bad it was if you wouldn't see a picture
[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_01]: of my back you wouldn't believe it because I didn't believe it.
[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_01]: I was like that's not my back.
[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I got to a that's your back and I got to be a doctor and he said I needed a 14 hour
[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_01]: surgery.
[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I cried like a baby saying I can't do this.
[00:12:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't take a year off and get a full spinal fusion from the thoracic all the way
[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_01]: down to the sacrum, everything in the lumbar spine and this is going to how am I supposed
[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_01]: to inspire 10 million people at that and I'll never forget one of the lowest times
[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_01]: in my life was when this was going on after one of my doctor's appointments and the
[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_01]: doctor told me that I just vehemently let my wife have it.
[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Like just playing out to her like why?
[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Why is it all worth it?
[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Like ready to literally move to the mountains, retire say I'm done and it was the same
[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_01]: time I was getting involved with white fish like I don't want any more of all of the
[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_01]: heaviness well she said stop time out maybe all of this is going to be a huge blessing.
[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe these biggest burdens that you're facing right now some day you're going to help
[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_01]: more than just trainers and coaches you're going to have people who are in pain people
[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_01]: who are suicidal people who aren't thinking right people who are experiencing set back
[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_01]: in adversity like you're facing right now now is the time to go through it.
[00:13:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Don't don't deny it you're going to have to suck it up and go through the journey of
[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_01]: whatever it is whether it's six months a year or two years you're going to have to go
[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_01]: through it and she kind of lectured me I didn't want to hear say stop I don't want
[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_01]: to hear it and she was right Eric like it was tough but for the 2021 I spent in pain so
[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_01]: much pain that couldn't work out I couldn't sleep I couldn't lie my back I couldn't lie
[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_01]: my right side I could lie my stomach I can only lie my left side with the pillow between
[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_01]: my knees and I spent the majority of 2021 to early 2022 I called the year of pain and
[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_01]: people who ask what happened in your back
[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_01]: retree strength because
[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I never had surgery my pain went away
[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_01]: people like what happened I can't tell you what happened other than I could I list out every
[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_01]: single thing I did and there wasn't one thing that like hey I got stem cells which I did
[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I got three quarters on shot I did I did a lot of different stuff because when you're
[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_01]: in pain you'll do anything but the hardest part of that was this in the middle of the
[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_01]: pandemic I had just come out of the book I'll get your mind right I'm known as a mindset
[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_01]: coach I'm to get your mind right guy and here I am I came out of the book my fourth book
[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll get your mind right and all of a sudden my mind is outright I mean in June of 2020 my
[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_01]: book finally came out get your mind right I wrote it when my mind was right all of a
[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_01]: It was like I had to live my own words like I had never had to live my own words and I battled because when you're in physical pain
[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_01]: And it the only thing you want to do is get out of pain and
[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_01]: It was really really bad but in 2022 all of a sudden my physical pain was gone
[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_01]: But I was still dealing with like fatigue exhaustion
[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Annowing this of I had sold a big portion of my business fitness quest 10 because I don't know if I could lead any more
[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know if I was gonna die. I didn't know what was going on
[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_01]: So 2022 is like this gray kind of time and
[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_01]: When you ask hey, well everyone looks at you as like this guy who has all these accolades and success
[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah for 20 years I did and for three years
[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I battled like I've never battled before to get to you know the other side of that and all of this culminated
[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_01]: If I just fast forward through a bunch of it it all culminated in
[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_01]: 2023 with a diagnosis of sleep at the on top of everything and
[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_01]: You probably have done shows on sleep at me, but here I am going through all this physical pain mental anguish
[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Set back adversity and I run into a physician Dr. Gabrielle
[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Lion and Gabrielle's like a Todd like you got to see batting
[00:15:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Like sleep at me. I think for all guys. I don't have sleep at me
[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know I had maybe seals were in the 30s who have sleep at me like really what is sleep at me
[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_01]: She said it's when you stop breathing in the middle of the night. I said really like
[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know like she has your wife told you snoring the last of course
[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_01]: She said as your wife told you stop breathing in a little night
[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I said actually she has but I just tell her that I'm just being nice and polite
[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just not I'm being quiet. She was go get checked. I guarantee you have sleep out now
[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I went and got checked
[00:16:21] [SPEAKER_01]: And sure enough
[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Then I got checked. I stopped breathing a hundred and twenty times that night and
[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_01]: 120 times was between each one of those episodes was for between 20 to 52 seconds
[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Like ways that I stopped breathing in the six hours and 10 minutes. I slept last night
[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_01]: for
[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_01]: 20 to 52 seconds
[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_01]: They said yeah, when you did that your blood oxygen levels go down to 75 to 79
[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_01]: There's no wonder why you feel like garbage your exhausted your burned out all of this stuff
[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just leave out me. So it was a three and a half year battle through darkest times now
[00:16:55] [SPEAKER_01]: It's I look at that as the biggest blessing because of going through that battle and true strength
[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And what's come on the other side of that?
[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I've never felt as alive and focused and
[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Mission centered about what I'm doing in the health fitness wellness space as right now because my vision
[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Has grown tenfold to even what it was prior to all this when I was at the height of
[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Quote my career of what I was doing now it's on a whole other level than impact people at a much deeper level
[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah awesome, and well thank you for sharing that
[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry you had to go through all that it's one of those uh, sorry for the long answer
[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_00]: It's great. That means it's set the table really well
[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think any time you get somebody who's been in an industry or been out front for a long time
[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like you there's gonna be periods you're gonna have to reinvent yourself
[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yep, but you have to endure right and that's just you it's never gonna be linear
[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, wait I mean you've been in business long enough for like it the growth is never linear
[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like squiggly and the backwards because of this way right?
[00:17:51] [SPEAKER_00]: So it's but you gotta go through those points and it's so it's tough
[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_00]: So I imagine this book probably just kind of
[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Flu out of you right, would you sit down right it was it easy like not easy to write but it's
[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Compared to the other four books that it just kind of pour out. I'll tell you what
[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_01]: It was a toughest book I have a wrote
[00:18:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Because I reveal all the stuff that's not pretty
[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_01]: It's hard to reveal the things that you're not good at or that didn't go well
[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Is that like I have super old champions written all over that and all these accolades and the highs and there's a 10-week
[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Get your get your mind writer get your body right program
[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_01]: This is of memoir of me going through the darkest time of my life and when you're writing that you're having like
[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm an emotional guy and I'm writing down this like crying on paper when we put the outline together
[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't start to sort this with December 2023 it came out in June of 24
[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Usually don't write a book and have it out that quick but I said
[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I have to have this out the world and these are right now. There's a lot of people who are struggling or facing adversity
[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Challenge strike financially, relationally, personally, health
[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Everything I have to have it out and become a it became a mission so in December of 2023 when I sat down
[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_01]: and mapped it all out
[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Over a four-day period of on the whiteboard and everything
[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_01]: I had never
[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_01]: For that four-day period gotten so emotional
[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Because I had to relive three and a half years of health
[00:19:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Literally I had to go back and like remember okay, I forgot about that like yeah
[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_01]: With my wife and my co-author Clay Manley who we're right now in like it was a really
[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Exhausting four days of having the relive it but talk about flowing
[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_01]: It came out like it was just spitting out. It was writing itself and it's a rather quick read
[00:19:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Because I think oh like you know 500 pages is some people are telling me they're reading in a day or two
[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Because it flows and it flows and it flows and the big thing in there is there's action steps on the body
[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Mind and soul each chapter has body mind and soul of what you can do for your body your mindset and your soul set
[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_01]: To really get it to the next level if you're if you're battling your struggling
[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_01]: You have some adversity or a friend or a son or a daughter or a spouse
[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean what I'm finding is right now everyone's got something everyone's got something either you or your family everyone's got something and I'm like guys
[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_01]: As a leader in the fitness space
[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I believe now that the good man is from above
[00:20:20] [SPEAKER_01]: gave this to me as an opportunity to go through it and paste it because I hadn't tasted a verse
[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_01]: He liked that since my pop's past away when I was 20 years old and
[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_01]: 30 years later here I am going through this time
[00:20:32] [SPEAKER_01]: That I believe is gonna be the impetus for my next season of life
[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Right the next 25 years of
[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Really when I'm passionate about doing and spreading light
[00:20:42] [SPEAKER_01]: So I have the lighthouses on the the cover of that book of being light and we're now
[00:20:46] [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't want to fast forward too much, but we're now bringing lighthouses all throughout the country with my next
[00:20:52] [SPEAKER_01]: My next you know aspect of what I'm working on yeah
[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's talk about that man. We're doing we're talking about impact. Yes, yeah, so
[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Get travelists I've caught up with him over the over the years and I know he's really excited about the partnership

[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Clendessen for a little bit he was you know a little quiet about it. He's like not you know

[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I've been doing all of it anyway at fitness quest 10 with with fitness and I'm a man of faith

[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_01]: But I want to offer for people and if we have Jewish people Muslim Hindu
[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_01]: atheist agnostic that's cool like coming to get the best training you can get recovery
[00:24:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Awesome, but if someone wants to build their faith, we're gonna have the opportunity to build that and
[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Help people up and when people when something goes wrong
[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I want people coming out of light house to get lit up to be prayed with and for and then go back and do your thing
[00:25:11] [SPEAKER_01]: And if you ever want to build that in your life great we're here and I was building that
[00:25:16] [SPEAKER_01]: After I got diagnosed for about three to six months and as I shared my vision with Travis because I was coaching him overall
[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_01]: He said hey, Todd
[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I'm kind of stuck with journey 333 where a large group training what if I take the journey 333 model and we merge and
[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I put the journey 333 model into impact x performance. I said 100%
[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Why because Travis is an operator he's in the trenches
[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm a visionary who wants to change the world
[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna impact the hundred million people and we're gonna have light house all of the country

[00:27:05] [SPEAKER_00]: So how does that play out like in an actual
[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_00]: session and a week like how how does someone engage with you guys to
[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_01]: To firm up their faith. Yeah, right. How does that work? Yeah a couple things um and faith and so
[00:27:21] [SPEAKER_01]: There's a couple ways number one inspiration
[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Inspiration is what it's from the heart inspire the heart
[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_01]: So I will be delivering personally messages twice a week to all of our members inside of impact
[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Ex performance these are not
[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Biblical per se but they might be biblical stories or they could be inspirational stories people over
[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Commit diversity just to inspire people on that we also what's called our sweat and soul classes
[00:27:45] [SPEAKER_01]: So where somebody was hey hey, we're gonna sweat and then we're gonna do a meditation afterwards
[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Great let's light down do a meditation in the yoga world. They call it corpus pose or chavasana
[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Whatever you want to call it call it, but as we lie there and I lead or our instructors lead people through an actual breath work
[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Breathing right is spiritual so as we bring them through the breath work
[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_01]: 18 to 20 thousand times a day they're breathing and they're being led on that we're just bringing out the awareness of breathing
[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Meditation awareness and prayer
[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_01]: of prayer to your God we'll use the word god. I'm not afraid to use the word god
[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Right like it's okay people okay, right? Like it's okay, so we will use the word god in there
[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_01]: So that's the sweat and soul class not all classes are sweat and soul the other ways that will use faith is this two ways
[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Every weekend we're gonna offer a faith based message if you were a member at impact
[00:28:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Performance and you wanted those messages you to opt in to that and you'd receive a 10 to 15 minute faith based
[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Mesh's that will be biblical
[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_01]: That will apply to your to your life and will encourage those people to go to the local community churches as well
[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_01]: We're not gonna be the church, but we're all we're gonna offer an opportunity to get more
[00:29:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Faith based messages on that and then lastly like a churchwood we want small groups like small groups for people
[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Come together the biggest thing that we have done in in my experience at fitness quest
[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Hand in my coaching groups and everything part of and Travis is done it really well at journey is community
[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_01]: And then whether it's a faith based community or a fitness community
[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna have a community of people who are great people that if you need something you come talk to me
[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_01]: If I don't know the answer I'm gonna connect you with people who can get you the answer and when it's not to be like hey
[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Can I pray for you?
[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Is can we pray with you right so to me?
[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_01]: You're gonna have that opportunity or someone would have that well, I don't believe in God fantastic cool
[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Come come hang with us come workout come get your recovery and when you when you need me
[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm here. I'll pray with you
[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_01]: That's it as simple as that like so we're gonna have the best in fitness and recovery and life coaching and when someone wants it
[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_01]: They're gonna have the opportunity to get it. Yeah. Yeah awesome
[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I was a cross-fit owner yeah for a long time and I could tell you many times
[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I felt like I was running a church. Yeah, like we're just gathering on the Saturdays
[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Right it was just the social aspect that people got out
[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't a bar it wasn't a restaurant right? It was somewhere that people could go
[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm sure for a large sub so here's actually the question I have for you is I mean your
[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Your master motivator right you are a person of faith
[00:30:29] [SPEAKER_00]: You you make people believe in themselves
[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but you're also a business person. Yep, right? So you have to understand you can you have to have both
[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_00]: You have to have a really good business case and an opportunity there so when you look at this model
[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Like we're what are some of the signs that you're like this is actually a really good business model as well
[00:30:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Like are you seeing insights from other like industries that make you believe that this is
[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_00]: A good direction to go or yeah from a business sense tell me what do you see in here
[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Couple different things and to be honest with you when I started my business way back in the day
[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I was a horrible business guy like I didn't care about money me too
[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_01]: And it was I didn't have a business plan. I didn't have clients
[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_01]: And like let me start this business and it was really to help people and in a lot of ways
[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm still like that. I don't like numbers. I'm not good with numbers
[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I have people around me who are very good with numbers who report to me
[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't like looking at the numbers
[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's why I relate a lot to like jackalain
[00:31:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Those younger folks listening and jackalain the godfather of fitness
[00:31:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I was recently with a lane lane his 98 year old still live in wife
[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And she said jack and hated numbers jack would go off the free and do whatever because if it was going to change someone's life
[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I was like
[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what that's I think that's what I love to do like I don't really like to look at hey
[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_01]: This is gonna be five hundred dollars or a thousand dollars or five thousand dollars or ten dollars like
[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_01]: If it's gonna change a life I'm in and to answer your question though like the business model per say
[00:31:57] [SPEAKER_01]: For me in the at least a franchise model with seven
[00:32:01] [SPEAKER_01]: As we build that out and you have proof of 10 to 20 of these that
[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_01]: You know hey each one of those is profitable and you know if they're
[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_01]: netting $150,000 plus
[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Which they will this is that's what they're designed to do
[00:32:16] [SPEAKER_01]: 150 to 225 and then some folks are gonna want two or three of them
[00:32:22] [SPEAKER_01]: We're trying to build it what I want to do is take someone from cradle to grave
[00:32:26] [SPEAKER_01]: We've always had a great internship program. I want to take interns build them in the coaches and trainers and show them that this is in a hobby
[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_01]: This can be a career. We're gonna change lives and when they become a trainer at
[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Impact X and then we put them on a fast track to the entrepreneurial side of the side of it
[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_01]: They learn the business side
[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_01]: What I always say is this if you focus on the money
[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_01]: That's not a good it's not a good practice in the fitness world to make money if you focus on that
[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_01]: The numbers have to be there. I had the change of our relationship with money because I grew up as a young
[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Stavake kids with no money so I'm like
[00:33:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't believe I deserve money
[00:33:03] [SPEAKER_01]: So that was my old view now like I deserve money because when I get money and attract money
[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_01]: I know go do good things with the money to go put back into it
[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_01]: So we credit the impact foundation to go give back now to other you know charities around our community and things going on
[00:33:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Suicide prevention and mental health is our big thing right now
[00:33:26] [SPEAKER_01]: But I would say from a systems standpoint the numbers the P Nells have to make sense and we look at that

[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Are you are are you willing to change lives? I cuz he's a he's a he wants to invest in one of the impact
[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Experiences I said the bottom line is this has a person who's gonna have an impact express performance facility
[00:33:58] [SPEAKER_01]: If you're not dead set on change of lives don't don't get involved
[00:34:02] [SPEAKER_01]: You're with the wrong partner because
[00:34:04] [SPEAKER_01]: That's all I care about change of lives. I believe if you're mission centered about changing lives
[00:34:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I believe the money will come and God always provides
[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_01]: He's never let me down. He's never let someone down who's got the right heart to go do good things
[00:34:18] [SPEAKER_01]: So that's how that's how I always say it as far as the the business side of it

[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of coaches and trainers look up to you right and I think like that profession

[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Right, there's a lot of changes going on
[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_00]: You know a lot of people on this podcast when we've talked about
[00:34:37] [SPEAKER_00]: You know is the personal training professions slipping into like the gig economy
[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Right where it's like people just looking for a space to train
[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_00]: But they also want their Instagram
[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Built up and they want to do remote clients and they want to do all these different things or that
[00:34:49] [SPEAKER_00]: You know maybe people are looking at as like a a lifeguarding certification
[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_00]: They kind of
[00:34:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Get out they're gonna do it for a couple summers and they're gonna move on and then there's a lot of fear about of course
[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Professional intelligence and how will that take over the industry or change the profession so I want to get your take on
[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_00]: How the profession is at this point and I guess maybe I'll get more point in my questions
[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_00]: But what do you think?
[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Is the biggest threat to the personal training and coaching industry right now on 2020
[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_01]: The biggest threat. Yeah, it might be talking in a wrong guy mindset
[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Mine says the biggest threat because I start believing if some starts believing well a eyes gonna take over or
[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Man, we're gonna get replaced guess what you lost
[00:35:30] [SPEAKER_01]: You lose because you start thinking and you started being hesitant about that because people love people and people this is a people business
[00:35:36] [SPEAKER_01]: So to me the mindset is the biggest
[00:35:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Aspect that we got to make sure we buckle up because if we're not you'll get your butt kicked in business
[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care if you are a trainer if you're a biz owner and anything it's all about mindset
[00:35:48] [SPEAKER_01]: If you are an omission to change lives
[00:35:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I leave that was a great time to be in this business
[00:35:54] [SPEAKER_01]: The best are gonna survive and they're gonna thrive
[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of people in my mastermind group who are killing it in business because they are so folks on changing lives
[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Why because we have a sick economy with a sick people who right now physically mentally are
[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Our broken
[00:36:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Broken so if someone's like hey, I want to change lives
[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Some of these biz are crushing it right now because they're serving people in a way that they need to be served
[00:36:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Versus well a eyes taken over a I could be a great addition to any business
[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_01]: But out it's not gonna replace trainers and coaches when you look out people are hurt
[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_01]: injured their bodies are erect because of stress and everything going on with soft tissue work and bodywork and recovery
[00:36:41] [SPEAKER_01]: That's how I got into this field was all
[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Fing structural integration film and Christ deep tissue sports on that was the late 90s
[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_01]: That's how I got into this world before my back injury and I think the biggest threat is mindset a week mindset
[00:36:54] [SPEAKER_01]: That's why I'm a huge believer in y'all better strengthen your mindset out daily like I have to and that's why I wrote the book because she's strength
[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Here I am the mindset guy who the devil is trying to take me out of the game
[00:37:06] [SPEAKER_01]: You trying to take me out of the game and I'm talking to pastor Jay's like everything you do is a ministry keep going keep going
[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_01]: There's good times in bad times fortunately he's 30 years down the road from me at any three years old
[00:37:16] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's I mean he's a king of mindset
[00:37:19] [SPEAKER_01]: He's he should be on the cover of get your mind right but to me the biggest threat isn't any things you hear about it
[00:37:24] [SPEAKER_01]: The media fees is it's my it's the mindset of you get weak you'll get beat
[00:37:28] [SPEAKER_01]: But if we have the ability that we're gonna infuse someone with more heart and soul
[00:37:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Then I believe we're gonna inspire a world that needs this right now and we are in a battle a true battle on all levels
[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_01]: And you just said earlier on Eric as from a from a coaching perspective you like you like in your gym to a church
[00:37:44] [SPEAKER_01]: 100% that's what it is. It's it's where people congregate together to be inspired of their body of their mind and their soul
[00:37:53] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what impact that's all about it's all body mind soul body mind soul
[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna feed you the best stuff you're gonna read things on the wall that the best things why because
[00:38:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Everything you see you start to believe so what you see is what you believe and all sudden if you're doing it
[00:38:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I always say that you know what you think you become so what you think
[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Your thoughts become your words your words become your flesh your flesh become your actions
[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_01]: You're actually becoming your character your character becomes your legacy often your thoughts
[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Yup, so what you read is crucial what I'm saying you is crucial if you listen to garbage or some trainers does
[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Complaining how life sucks and you know it's it's not good and money's not good
[00:38:27] [SPEAKER_01]: No, no stop talking like that. You're speaking it into existence stop that
[00:38:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Speak read that's why read things are gonna inspire you
[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Hang out with people who are gonna inspire you your vocabulary for your vernacular changes next
[00:38:41] [SPEAKER_01]: You know you change your whole energy you started attracting people that need your kind of energy and you know
[00:38:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm starting your changing lives. So to me
[00:38:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Mind set. Yeah awesome
[00:38:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm gonna ask this question by thinking me if it just answer in like four different ways
[00:38:57] [SPEAKER_00]: So on the positive side
[00:38:58] [SPEAKER_00]: What I just asked you what is the biggest opportunity that the fitness profession has in front of it now
[00:39:06] [SPEAKER_01]: How long we got I think it's a lot of great opportunities honestly, but I look at
[00:39:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Problems and solutions
[00:39:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Problems what are the greatest problems that exist in the world and what are the greatest solutions and how can you be a solution to that problem?
[00:39:22] [SPEAKER_01]: So I look at problems that exist on the opposite side of every problem. There's an opportunity on that
[00:39:27] [SPEAKER_01]: The pins on what someone's divine unique this is
[00:39:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Do you like working with people who are obese because if you do there's a lot of opportunities to help people get a healthy big problem
[00:39:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Great opportunity if you really want to a track and hold people accountable
[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_01]: If you're get results you can make the number that you want to work work because now you can work in the gym or you can work online
[00:39:48] [SPEAKER_01]: You have the ability now to attract the people you want to work not just in the brick and more studio
[00:39:52] [SPEAKER_01]: But Todd I live in the Moin, Iowa. I can only so what nowadays you can train people anywhere
[00:39:58] [SPEAKER_01]: right? So I'm an athlete performance coach. I've got guys flying in from all over the country
[00:40:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Love strength the good-ditioning. I love that side of it
[00:40:08] [SPEAKER_01]: It depends on the opportunities that one wants in impact x performance
[00:40:12] [SPEAKER_01]: We have hands-on a stretching we call it stretch flow
[00:40:17] [SPEAKER_01]: That's a great opportunity now that exists for people why because
[00:40:21] [SPEAKER_01]: The whole world is tight and they need flexibility and mobility
[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't have to sweat no line of table and get stretched out
[00:40:29] [SPEAKER_01]: That's just the entryway the gateway into what how you know what you should actually augment that with walking
[00:40:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Twice a week and doing some calisthenics as well next you know you get the move and get them stretching they start to feel better
[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_01]: My relationship is better with my wife. I feel like we're clicking more my sex life is all the things that like your relationships are better
[00:40:49] [SPEAKER_01]: It all started with hands-on why
[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Because your touch is crucial when you look at touch
[00:40:55] [SPEAKER_01]: What my my whole graduate thesis work was on the physiological and psychological effects of massage therapy on stress and anxiety
[00:41:02] [SPEAKER_01]: 1999 on that touch is very very important during the pandemic you couldn't touch anyone
[00:41:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Couldn't touch your kids you couldn't touch you couldn't touch
[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Now it's coming full circle back around like how important it is great opportunity with with touch therapy
[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Massage by the work stretching great opportunity nutrition great opportunity
[00:41:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean you find out what you love to do and be great at it be the best in the world at it
[00:41:29] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a great opportunity. Yeah awesome well said so
[00:41:33] [SPEAKER_00]: You motivate and influence a lot of people in the industry and you mentioned jack-o-lay and you mentioned master
[00:41:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Right I got to meet jack right before you passed away. I trained at Chris Lanes gym and San Francisco when you were a
[00:41:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Socris oh yeah, yeah, I'm known for one time who who is now alive within our industry do you look to
[00:41:51] [SPEAKER_00]: For inspiration and motivation within fitness and health great question
[00:41:59] [SPEAKER_01]: one of my longest
[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_01]: time mentors
[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Is a guy named Tom House
[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Me, good old no Tom but Tom
[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Started a he funny guy great guy by I learned from him in the late 90s and only 2000s because he come from the baseball world
[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_01]: And he worked with all the best pictures in the world Randy Johnson mark prior
[00:42:21] [SPEAKER_01]: The list goes on not then he started working with Tom Brady and then would drew breeze
[00:42:27] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's got a great content. I'm working with several clients right now in the training side he works with the throwing side
[00:42:32] [SPEAKER_01]: But Tom's a guy who in the late 90s started talking the language that I had been exposed to because of my massage therapy
[00:42:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Days and he's 20 years my senior
[00:42:41] [SPEAKER_01]: He's a guy I've learned a lot from both
[00:42:45] [SPEAKER_01]: biomechanically
[00:42:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And everything in the sport science side as well as in the business side Tom House has been a very influential person in my life
[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_01]: So from an inspirational standpoint I look at him as someone who I can to this day
[00:43:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Talked shop width and really get a lot of great knowledge with a lot of people don't know who Tom House is
[00:43:07] [SPEAKER_01]: But here's a guy in his 70s who's continuing to work with the highest level athletes in the world
[00:43:12] [SPEAKER_01]: he's a coach and
[00:43:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I love spending time with him to this day. He's someone who definitely inspires me on the business side of things
[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_01]: It really comes to a lot of other non fit pros people here like even a wife is my my guy stay see
[00:43:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Smith here at the homestead being around guys like Stacey and Drew Breeze
[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Drew is on the business side in the franchising world and I've added a chance to to be around
[00:43:37] [SPEAKER_01]: him prior to us opening impact decks performance
[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And now with IXP impact X performance
[00:43:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Drew's been someone who's inspired me at a different level here. I was for 20 something years
[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Inspiring and coaching him on the football world it's kind of come full throwable
[00:43:53] [SPEAKER_01]: And now he's like help me because he's he's involved with many different franchises
[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's helped me in that and a guy named Jeff Fenster Jeff is not a fit pro, but he's in the entrepreneurial side of things
[00:44:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And Jeff Fenster interesting story
[00:44:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I did not know this but Jeff grew up in the same town where my gym is in and was watching me when he was in high school
[00:44:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I had just started my gym and Jeff goes on a view. He's he started multiple franchises now is
[00:44:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Uber successful and when I finally connected with him he's like, I know who you are and like
[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_01]: How do you know me? He's like, I don't know what can you since I've been in high school like what?
[00:44:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I went to strip front high school in San Diego. I'm like what so these are some of the guys who inspire me
[00:44:35] [SPEAKER_01]: on a regular basis and a you know weekly basis. I'm talking then Pastor Jeremiah that guy at a level that I can't even explain is a
[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_01]: God send in what he does for me my son Brady just had the opportunity to do a summer internship with him
[00:44:50] [SPEAKER_01]: On the media side like what you're doing here with the podcast in world
[00:44:54] [SPEAKER_01]: You know he had a chance to take
[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Brady under his wing and share with him the media side TV podcasting radio
[00:45:01] [SPEAKER_01]: All the media aspects of how do you take your message? Right and go out there and evangelize it
[00:45:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, those are some of the people yeah awesome man. Well
[00:45:12] [SPEAKER_00]: We are we're starting to butt up on time here, but I want to get some insights into like
[00:45:17] [SPEAKER_00]: What's going on with you for the rest of
[00:45:19] [SPEAKER_00]: 2024 where can people catch up with you you have your book obviously you're gonna be doing book signings
[00:45:24] [SPEAKER_00]: All over a presumed not just white fish me. Oh, okay, it's white people
[00:45:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I've got a very aggressive book signing tour
[00:45:32] [SPEAKER_01]: It's 15 cities next three months if someone goes on my Instagram on my lane tree has all the different
[00:45:39] [SPEAKER_01]: cities that I will be in and truth be told is
[00:45:42] [SPEAKER_01]: My son Luke is going into his senior year of college and he placed football debits in college
[00:45:48] [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm like I'm not missing it game, but it's all over the country. They're like the busiest plate. They're all over
[00:45:53] [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm doing a book signing pretty much in every city they're playing in this fall and then I've added about 10 more
[00:45:59] [SPEAKER_01]: cities in that are adjacent cities in and areas. So if you take a look at
[00:46:05] [SPEAKER_01]: the cities, I'm in I think eight different states
[00:46:08] [SPEAKER_01]: on the next 90 days
[00:46:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll also be in Canada with true strength we have a retreat back here in white fish Montana
[00:46:16] [SPEAKER_01]: In November and this is not just for fit pros it's from my master my group
[00:46:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I lead a group what's called impact coaching and these are non fit pros these are entrepreneurs who are looking for the best
[00:46:28] [SPEAKER_01]: not only health and human performance but also in life people who have experienced success
[00:46:35] [SPEAKER_01]: But look into create even more significance
[00:46:38] [SPEAKER_01]: So they're all coming back along with people who are not part of my coaching programs
[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_01]: We have 25 spots who people who just want to be at the retreat

[00:47:19] [SPEAKER_01]: It was the book coming out it was my big impact summit which was in Los Angeles just a few weeks ago
[00:47:25] [SPEAKER_01]: And that was a live event and then of course the impact ex performance launch
[00:47:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Which happened in May of 24 here just a couple months ago as well
[00:47:35] [SPEAKER_01]: So those were three of my five that happened prior to July one
[00:47:40] [SPEAKER_01]: on that so
[00:47:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Then excess back is to really focus on the growth of impact ex performance and make our existing franchisee
[00:47:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Successful and me pouring into them and then we've got a lot of fitness shows perform better got a couple coming up on
[00:47:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Perform better can fit pro some other private ones showing up at different studios and clubs over next few months
[00:48:02] [SPEAKER_01]: So to me it busy few months I actually like traveling so I get I get awakened and energized from actually being in
[00:48:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Part of a group of people so I love that the speaking side and and coaching other coaches and other trainers and other
[00:48:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Fit pros and people who are even fitness and physias as well. Yeah, awesome
[00:48:23] [SPEAKER_00]: And I know you're really
[00:48:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Pretty active on Instagram. Yeah, right?
[00:48:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Is that the best place for people to go over?
[00:48:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Would you like them to go out definitely see it if it's on Instagram?
